Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling

NEET Counselling 2025: Jharkhand NEET 2025 counselling round-1 dates have been changed. The merit list for Round 1 will be made available on August 8, 2025. Choice filling will start on August 9, 2025. Candidates will have until 11:00 AM on August 16, 2025, to complete their choice. The JCECE NEET round-1 allotment results will be available on August 18, 2025.

The online registration period remained available until August 7, 2025, after the applicants were granted an extension. Candidates who have previously applied and had their names added to the state merit list are exempt from having to reapply. Candidates will have until August 16, 2025 (11:59 PM) to look over and change their choices once the options are locked. Jharkhand NEET Counselling 2025 Highlights

The authority conducting State Counselling will manage 85% of seat admissions through State Quota counselling, while the Medical Counselling Committee will handle seat admissions for the All India quota. The state has more than 9 medical and approximately 4 dental colleges, with around 1005 medical and 363 dental seats to be allocated through State Counselling. 

Candidates are required to register, choose their desired colleges, and complete several rounds of the counselling procedure before receiving a seat allocation based on their merit rank, category, and availability. After each round, a process for verifying documents and reporting to the assigned college is conducted.

Jharkhand NEET UG Counselling is specifically for candidates seeking MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing seats in Jharkhand. Registration for the 2025 session was open till July 26, and only NEET 2025 qualified candidates who are permanent residents of Jharkhand can apply. The merit list was announced on July 29, followed by online choice filling and seat allotment according to the candidates’ preferences and NEET ranks.

For Jharkhand, the NEET Counselling 2025 application process began on July 16 and lasts until July 26. The Round-1 merit list was released on July 29, with online choice filling started on July 30. Eligibility Criteria of Jharkhand MBBS Counselling 2025

For Jharkhand NEET Counselling 2025, candidates must primarily be domiciled in Jharkhand. They must have also qualified for the NEET UG 2025 examination by securing the minimum cut-off marks. Age criteria and specific educational qualifications, as per NTA and JCECEB guidelines, are also mandatory for eligibility.

Step 1: Online Registration & Application

Candidates need to visit the official JCECEB website and register by providing basic personal details, NEET UG 2025 Roll Number, and other required information. Create a unique login ID and password.

Step 2: Upload Documents

Upload scanned copies of all necessary documents (as specified in the information bulletin) in the prescribed format and size. Ensure clarity and legibility.

Step 3: Application Fee Payment

Pay the non-refundable counselling application fee online using a Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking. The fee amount varies for different categories. Expected Fee: Rs. 1000 (General/BC-I/BC-II), Rs. 500 (SC/ST/Female candidates of all categories).

Step 4: Document Verification (Online/Offline)

JCECEB will verify the uploaded documents. In some cases, candidates might be required to report to a designated centre for physical verification. Upon successful verification, candidates' names will be included in the State Merit List.

Step 5: Publication of State Merit List

A provisional state merit list will be published by JCECEB based on NEET UG 2025 scores and successful document verification. This list will include candidates' Jharkhand State Rank.

Step 6: Choice Filling & Locking

Eligible candidates will log in using their credentials and fill in their preferred choices of colleges and courses in order of priority. Candidates are advised to fill as many choices as possible to maximize their chances. After filling, choices must be locked before the deadline.

Step 7: Seat Allotment Result

Based on the NEET UG 2025 rank, choices filled, availability of seats, and reservation criteria, seats will be allotted. The provisional seat allotment result will be published online.

Step 8: Download the Provisional Allotment Letter

Candidates who are allotted a seat must download their provisional allotment letter from the JCECEB website. This letter is crucial for the admission process.

Step 9: Reporting to the Allotted College

Selected candidates must report to their respective allotted college within the stipulated time frame with all original documents and a set of photocopies, along with the required admission fee. Failure to report or submit documents/fees will lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat.
