The pre-clinical stage covers the subjects of anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology, microbiology, and others.
The clinical stage covers the subjects of internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, and others. The course also includes elective subjects, such as medical ethics, medical psychology, medical sociology, and others. The course is taught in English or Russian, depending on the student’s preference. The students have to pass the state examination at the end of the course to obtain the degree of MD (Doctor of Medicine).
Dentistry: The Dentistry course at FMSMU is a five-year program that covers the theoretical and practical aspects of dental science, along with research and innovation skills. The course is divided into two stages: pre-clinical (2 years) and clinical (3 years). The preclinical stage covers the subjects of anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology, microbiology, and others.

The course is divided into two stages: pre-clinical (2 years) and clinical (3 years). The pre-clinical stage covers the subjects of chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, pharmacognosy, pharmacology, and others.
The clinical stage covers the subjects of pharmaceutical technology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmacotherapy, clinical pharmacy, and others. The course also includes elective subjects, such as pharmaceutical ethics, pharmaceutical psychology, pharmaceutical sociology, and others.
