About the University
Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University was founded in 1935, making it one of the oldest educational institutions in the region. The university is located in Batumi, a vibrant coastal city situated on the Black Sea coast in southwestern Georgia. It is a public university, funded and operated by the government of Georgia. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across various disciplines, including but not limited to arts and humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, and health sciences.
Presently there are about 6000 students enrolled in various programmes at graduate, master, and doctoral levels. It is recognised by the World Health Organisation (WHO), National Medical Commission (NMC), UNESCO, and more.
Requirements for Study
Eligibility Criteria For MBBS Admission:
- The aspirants should have scored a minimum of 50 % marks in their academics in PCB.
- NEET score card with qualifying marks is essential .
- A student must complete 17 years of age by the end of the admission year.
