About the University
The University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) is an educational institution located in the northern region of the Canadian province of British Columbia. The university was established in 1990. UNBC campus offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs in the fields of arts, sciences, business, education, and health sciences. The University is among the top 1000 universities in the world as per the rankings given by the QS and THE for 2024.
The University of Northern British Columbia has four campuses in British Columbia, Canada. The main campus is located in Prince George, and the other three campuses are Fort St. John, Terrace, and Quesnel. There are more than 3,500 students in various academic programmes and 17% of these are international students. The English proficiency tests accepted at the university include IELTS, DTE, CELPIP, and others. The application deadlines vary according to the courses but international students can apply for UG programmes by January-February for September intakes of the coming year .
