The GRE test fee for students registering from India is INR 22,000. This amount encompasses the GRE application fee, GRE form fees, and the GRE General Test fee, all of which are collectively referred to as the GRE registration fee. For candidates who wish to take the GRE Subject Test, an additional fee of INR 14,500 applies. Therefore, the total fee for the GRE Subject Test is approximately INR 14,500.
GRE Subject Test is likely to be necessary by the university if candidates are applying to more specialized programs, like psychology, mathematics, or physics. Schools use these tests to assess your knowledge of the subject you want to study further.
Subject tests are not available year-round like the GRE General Test. Since they are only available during certain times.
