Tver State Medical University Campus

Tver State Medical University has a distinguished place in the medical history of Russia.  It was founded in 1902 as the Dental School in St. Petersburg, and it was later renamed the Leningrad State Dental Institute in 1936. In 1954, the institute was transferred to the city of Kalinin (now TVER) and renamed the Kalinin State Medical Institute. In 1994, the institute was awarded the status of academy and renamed the Tver State Medical Academy.

Eligibility Criteria For MBBS Admission:

Admission to Tver State Medical University is based on the qualification of the candidate along with the rules prescribed by the competent authorities. Those who qualify for the minimum eligibility will be offered admission to the MBBS course. 

• As per the official website, the minimum age required is 17, students completing 17 till 31 December of the admission year are also eligible

• Candidates need not appear or qualify for the TOEFL or IELTS test to pursue MBBS in Russia

• One has to submit a copy and original of the entry visa to the Russian Federation

• Candidates qualifying for the NEET exam with a good rank are compulsory for admission to Far Eastern Federal University

• Those who secure 50% marks in the 12th class with Physics, Biology, and Chemistry will be considered for admission to the MBBS course
