About the University
Medicine Hat College was established in 1965 to serve the educational needs of the southeastern Alberta region. Medicine Hat College offers a variety of diploma, certificate, and degree programs in areas such as arts and sciences, business, health studies, trades, and technology. The college has collaborated with universities to provide transfer programs, allowing students to pursue further education beyond the college level.

Another campus situated in Brooks, 100 km west of Medicine Hat, is attended by around 200 students.
