About the University
Tashkent Medical Academy is a public medical school and medical research centre located in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. It is formed from the amalgamation of two previous medical universities and became one combined academy in 2005. The Academy, recognised as among the leading medical institutes in Uzbekistan.
As per the Fall 2023 enrollment data Tashkent Medical Academy enrolls 5,345 students including 4,234 undergraduate and 1,111 graduate students from the country and 2% of international students representing many countries in the world. The university has a student-to-faculty ratio of 4:1.
The university offers graduation and post-graduation in over 6 bachelor’s degrees, 43 postgraduate programs (residency), and 33 master’s degrees covering Medical Pedagogy, General Medicine, Preventive Medicine, and Medical Biology.
Requirements for Study
Eligibility Criteria For MBBS Admission:
- The aspirants should have scored a minimum of 50 % marks in their academics in PCB.
- NEET score card with qualifying marks is essential .
- A student must complete 17 years of age by the end of the admission year.
